KRCA Spring Walk

Join the Friends and Staff of the Kenilworth Racecourse Conservation Area for a 1½ hour walk through their wetland ecosystem. Sun 12 – 11h00.

The Kenilworth Racecourse Conservation Area is a seasonal wetland, with great views of Table Mountain. It hosts 310 plant species of which 34 are threatened and one is endemic, and is home to 11 amphibians including the critically endangered Micro Frog and Cape Platanna.

It supports a healthy reptile, bird and small mammal community.

The Friends and Staff of the Kenilworth Racecourse Conservation Area invite you to join them for a 1½ hour walk through their wetland ecosystem on Sunday 12 October at 11h00.

Meet at the Wetton Road Racecourse Entrace Gate, and wear walking shoes, a sun hat and sunscreen lotion.

There is no charge for FKRCA members and scholars – non FKRCA members pay R 10.
