‘My Forever Friend’ at the Baxter Theatre

A funny, interactive audience experience for the whole family – ‘My Forever Friend’ at the Baxter Theatre from 10 Dec to 10 Jan. R 50pp.

Written by Jeremy Daniel, and adapted for the stage and directed by Joanna Evans, with music by Aron Turest-Swartz

Based on a children’s book by the same name, ‘My Forever Friend’ is perfect festive-season entertainment for the whole family. It is a funny, moving and interactive audience experience that shows kids how to be their own best friends, through music, mime and magic of mirrors.

Mimi is a typical seven-year-old girl living in a small, crowded flat with her parents. Her mirror image, whom she calls Copia, has a mind and a life of her own. So when Copia finds out that Mimi’s parents are selling the flat and moving into a big house in the suburbs, she must find the courage to warn Mimi about the move before she makes a fool of herself in front of all her new school friends.

Entertaining, educational and uplifting, ‘My Forever Friend’ teaches children about friendship and the power of believing in themselves.

Daily (excluding Sundays, 25 December and 1 January) from Wednesday 10 December to 10 January at 10h00 and at 12h00.

Tickets R 50pp – family of four R 175.

Book at Computicket.
