FREE concert – Mark Haze at De Waal Park

Take a picnic, the kids, and even the family dog, to a free concert in De Waal Park in Oranjezicht, featuring Mark Haze, at 15h00 on Sun 14.

The whole family, your friends, and even your dogs, can look forward to a wonderful afternoon’s entertainment.

Master of Ceremonies – Sivuyile Ngesi, actor and comedian
Sivuyile Ngesi is a 25 year old actor born in the township of Gugulethu, Cape Town. Acting came early to Siv and at ten years old Siv toured Asia with ‘Les Miserables’ in the role of Gavroshe.

15h00 – The Rescu
The Rescu is a three-man seasoned melodic rock band from Cape Town that rocks the crowd with a big sound from start to finish and have a whole lot of fun doing it!

15h30 – Mark Haze and guest Jono Tait
Mark was born in Cape Town, South Africa and at age 7 started playing the guitar after being inspired by watching his uncle play.
Jonathan Tait “Jono” was born in Cape Town and took to playing music as soon as he started school. Starting out in the choir and taking piano lessons, he branched out into trombone in high school. At the age of 15, he decided to pick up guitar and since then has not looked back.

16h30 – The Rudimentals
The Rudimentals are an eight-piece ska/reggae band from Cape Town, South Africa.
