Guided walk – Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve
Join the Honorary Officers of the Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve for a two-hour guided walk on Saturday 14 Jan at 07h30. R 25pp.

The walk is two hours long, and will go around the castle grounds, with a brief history of Coedmore Castle, and then on to a view site overlooking Durban and the Harbour. The walk is suitable for slower walkers and children.
Aside from the wonderful plant life, you may also get to see zebra, bushbuck, reedbuck, impala, blue, red and grey duiker, vervet monkeys, mongoose, bushbabies and dassies or rock hyrax.
There is also an enormous variety of birds, including the grey cuckoo shrike, tambourine dove and the white-eared barbet.
The walk costs R 25 per person. Meet at the main parking.
You’re advised to wear good walking shoes, and take some juicy apples!
