Dress all in pink, pack a PINKnic basket and a blanket, and join the Parkhurst community for some light jazz and a family picnic – Sat 24.
Verity Park will be turned pink for the late afternoon picnic. Visitors are encouraged to come dressed in pink, as prizes will be awarded for the best dressed picnickers.
You’re invited to bring your own PINKnic baskets and blankets. For those who don’t bring their own, limited light meals and sweets will be for sale on the day, and blankets from ‘The Blanket’ will be on sale.
PINKnickers are not permitted to bring their own alcohol to the event, however a range of drinks will be for sale. This includes wines and Methode Cap Classique from Graham Beck Wines and Steenberg Vineyards as well as craft beers and cider from 11 Shillings Parkhurst Ale. Soft drinks, bottled water and locally roasted coffee will also be for sale.
