Three-day pony camp
A fun 3-day sleepover camp in Lanseria to teach children ages 6-16 how to ride and care for a pony, Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 January. R1000.
Spend three days on a real horse farm, swimming in the dam (if it’s warm enough!), riding daily, and learning whilst having fun.
The emphasis is on a fun learning experience for all kids interested in horses.
The programme consists of riding lessons, outrides, ‘hands on’ care of horses, activities, lectures, and games.
Children meet new friends, and make new and exciting memories.
No previous riding experience is required as all riding abilities are catered for, in a safe environment.
All activities are supervised by experienced instructors who have Level 1 First Aid certificates.
The day starts at 08h00 and ends at 18h00 each day.
Children may attend for individual days or for the whole camp.
The price includes all meals, juice and all materials for activities.
The cost of the camp is R 1000. If your child is attending the three days without sleeping over, the cost is R 900.
Sleepovers are offered at an additional cost of R 50 per night (children over eight only).
The children sleep over in the main farmhouse or the barn (for the older children) and have meals with the family.
A tuck shop is available for the children.
Booking in advance please; a 50% deposit is required upon confirmation; the balance to be paid on arrival.
Please note that cheques and credit cards are not accepted.
