The Galileo Open Air Cinema invites Cape Town locals and visitors to a memorable movie experience under a ceiling of stars.
The Lion King
A young lion cub named Simba can’t wait to be king. But his uncle craves the title for himself and will stop at nothing to get it.
Tickets are available online at www.webtickets.co.za, or at the door if the show is not sold out.
No chairs or backrests are allowed to be brought into the venue.
RAIN OR STRONG WIND
Light drizzle will not cancel the event – please be prepared.
Should it rain or be very windy on the night of the event, the movie will be cancelled and you will be informed via email and sms.
Please also keep an eye out on the Galileo website, their Facebook page and their Twitter page where they will keep you updated about the weather.
If a movie is cancelled, you will receive an email as notification of a new date or cancellation which will contain a link that allows you to choose a different movie or ask for a refund. You will have seven days to exchange your tickets before you lose them.
18h00: Gates open. Arrive early to reserve your seat under the stars and enjoy a magical market experience of delicious artisanal food and beverages, interactive games, music and fun.
19h30 to 20h30: Movie starts. Please note that start times will vary depending on the time the sun sets. Check your ticket for more accurate details in this regard.
