Bat evening at Kloofendal

Join a presentation at Kloofendal Reserve by the Bat Interest Group on Sat 14 at 17h00 – observe how bats are caught, handled and released.

The Bat Interest Group will present a ‘Bat Evening’ on Saturday 14 January 2017, where families can learn observe how bats are caught, handled and released.

Event starts with a presentation after which there’s a walk in the reserve and a demonstration on the use of bat detectors.
Event will still take place it it rains.
Take a torch, warm clothes, snacks and a blanket.

Be there at 17h00 for a 17h30 start.
17h30 to 20h00.

R 70 per adult, R 50 per child. R 10 per car for the security guard.

Entry into the reserve is free. There are picnic and ablution facilities

There is no tuck shop and no restaurant, so please take your own refreshments
